Hey all,

Happy New Year! Much has been happening here in Liquefaction land. We've relocated from New Mexico to Ohio, survived a two week power outage (after a very intense and surreal ice storm) and released "Emerge," the second disc of the series on DSBP!! 

Everything is up and running again.. Hopefully it will stay that way :) 

Big thanks to everyone who waited so patiently for this release. I would also like to take this oppurtunity to thank everyone who has shared the word about Liquefaction to their friends and family. I really appreciate all of your support!!

"Chrysalis," the first of the series, received excellent support! We were happy to appear in Side-Line, WetWorks Ezine, Black Sheep Ezine, The Alibi's "Sonic Reducer", MTV's "Made" as well as many great clubs and radio shows throughout the scene. We're looking forward to continued success with "Emerge."

I hope you get a chance to check it! 

We have some suprises in store in the upcoming months.. We're hoping to pull off something brand new to the scene.. Unfortunately, I don't want to give it away. You'll have to stay tuned for more info. hoo haha!

Liquefaction is a female solo project that is electronically charged with diverse contrasts of surreal, dream-like emotion and intense industrial styles. 

The birth of Liquefaction began with the release of "Chrysalis" in 2003. This was the first of the planned, conceptual "5 disc series" which uses a metaphorical story of the life and times of an angel born into an apocalyptic world to relate to reality and the personal journey that everyone must face. 

Liquefaction's 'Emerge' is Kindel's 2nd album on the DSBP label. It's a nice progression from "Chrysalis" and will carve her own identity into the electronic scene. 

This album is very diverse, richly textured and well produced. She mixes a cohesive set of electronic, industrial, rock, ethereal, string sounds and plenty of interesting samples with beautifully harmonic female vocals and true emotion. The tracks are very catchy and memorable and will have you singing along. 

You can hear influences from the past mixing in a futuristic style overall. Emerge is a thematic album with a lot of details and dancey tracks as well as melodic instrumental music. It contains two remixes from E.S. R, and TECNOMAN S.F., as well as an incredible cover version of "Don't Fear the Reaper"(BLUE OYSTER CULT.)

The birth of Liquefaction began with the release of “Chrysalis” in 2003. Band leader, Kindel's vocal tracks are catchy, harmonic and revealing while her music and instrumentals have a delicate mix of melodic and serene ethereal, mind throbbing elektro-industrial and even powernoise. The full experience of Liquefaction contains extreme emotion, thought provoking lyrics, and dreamy sequences recharged by harsh moments and dancey textures.
